I'm currently co-owner of Pacific Rim Camera. We are one of the leading vintage/collectible/classic camera firms, world-wide. Things are going well...we have several employees, and have almost outgrown our warehouse in Salem. We sell everything from 19th century wet-plate cameras to modern DSLRs. My current music projects are the alternative rock bands Diva, and Tribe of the Outcast...I play guitar in both groups. You can hear our music at myspace(dot)com(slash)tribeoftheoutcast. Tribe is fronted by an Opera singer, so we do classical and acoustic shows as well as electric music. After high school, I worked at a research lab at OHSU for a year, then attended the University of Oregon, where I received a degree in Music. After college I lived in the village of Manson, on Lake Chelan, Washington for a couple of years. I worked as a sous-chef at a nice resort, and spent most of my time-off photographing the North Cascades and Pasayten Wilderness. The Lake Chelan area is amazing, and I could have lived there for my whole life, but I returned to Portland in 1982 to get into the original music scene. I played bass and lead guitar in several alternative rock bands, including Napoleon's Mistress, Heart of Darkness and Diva.
