Ron's Story
Starlog update 2009: 36 years since I set off on a journey from the shores of Centre Consolidated. Joined the RCMP in 1974 and after training in Regina I was posted to Toronto where I eventually made my way into Drug Enforcement. Hung around the Toronto area until 1988 when I was transfered to Faro, Yukon. That was followed by a transfer to Whitehorse in 1991 and then to Sydney, Cape Breton in 1993. In 1998 I was transfered back to Toronto where I was placed in charge of Drug Enforcement for the Greater Toronto Area. ed to retire from the RCMP and try to figure out what is next,still to early to say what that is.
Along the way I managed to find a great lady who has been with me for the past 33 years and we have two children who are still both in University. Our son is due to graduate as a Vet in 2011 and our daughter who graduated with a Bc. of Science from the University of Guelph in 2007 will be graduating from the University of Toronto in 2010 with her Bc. of Nursing.
That's it for now, still anchored in Ontario and trying to figure out how I can get a girl from Toronto to move to the East Coast for good.
