Ron's Story

Life Things are kinda tough now. Fighting Cancer for the Past 3 years. I was diagnosed in 2005 with Cancer. I was given a possibility of 3 months, due to location of major tumor. In Center of my head. Attached pics show me with my pet dog Suzie Christmas 2005. The Other pic is me in High School. Looking forward to hearing from old classmates. Its me again. Still seeing Cancer doc every 6 months. Had to have bypass surgery in December 2007 due to collapsed artery from radiation. I haven't given up yet. Unfortunately have to see Urologists. Problems with Prostate/kidneys/bladder. Another side effect of the Cancer treatment. Cancer was located in my head. Stage 4. I was lucky and had excellent doctor in London. He got me started on Radiation and Chemo right away. My nurse practioner at the time told me since it was stage 4 Large b cell. I would only have 3 months to live. I fought the Cancer as well as other things. I had started treatment Dec 2005. So far so good as Cancer goes. I just have to deal with other illnesses. Gall bladder removed Dec 2005. Due to Chemo. Shingles Jan 2007 due to low immune system. Collapsed Artery in my chest due to radiation, needed Bypass surgery. I'll keep adding if any more come up. Need HyperBaric Oxygen in Tobemory so they can extract all my teeth. This is due to the Radiation I rec'd.I have no saliva glands that a...Expand for more

My mother is now battling Cancer now. Unfortunately she is not doing too good. She'll turn 79 this November. My self I'm battling right arm pain. The same arm that gave me problems before. Had Surgery to repair cartoroid Artery on right side, waiting for surgery to repair left side. Just in.....Heading out for more bloodwork tomorrow too crazy about that. I see my Therapist on Thursday for my depression. Then March 5th to London for follow up of Surgery and find out when I go in again for left side. I just got on to Classmates again thanks to Charmaine.send me emails to my personal email. They help spice up my day, and keeps the depression aside. I want to again thank Sue Braeden (Southern) for all her prayers and upbeat emails to help keep me going. I cannot go on Facebook due to legal issues.
