Ron's Story
Life
I live in Kennewick, WA, part of the Tri-Cities, the 4th largest metro area in WA. I am the Music & Arts Administrator for the Boys & Girls Club of Benton and Franklin Counties, and have found a new passion working in this new job. I am still the director of the Walla Walla Concert and Jazz Bands. It only rains about 20 days a year, and stays about 90 during the summer. It's a great place. I don't go home to the harbor much, but I have found a love for travel.

After spending more than five years in the public schools and other supporting environments, burn out on testing, scheduling problems and budget cuts led me to look at a change of scenery. After the 2004 school year ended I began as a Music & Arts Administrator with the Boys & Girls Club of Benton and Franklin Counties. With a near 2 million dollar budget, 7 buildings, and a staff that I have been able to hand pick and pluck from the community, I am feeling great about work now.
