Ron's Story

Life After graduation and a two year stint at DACC, I started traveling and playing music. Did that full time for about 6 years, traveling around the midwest with a number of bands. Met my first wife while playing in Monroe, Michigan. We ended up living in Rapid City, S.D. for about a year, then moved to Minneapolis, MN. Have been in this area since then. Got involved in manufacturing, primarily personal care products (shampoo, skin care, etc.). I've worked for Tiro Industries, Redmond Prodsucts (Aussie Hair Care) and Bristol-Meyers Squibb (Clairol). Was one of the founding principals of Boomerang Laboratories, as well as Art House Screen and Graphics (textile screen printing). About 10 years ago I moved ...Expand for more
into Information Services, working as I.S. Director for Lectec Corporation, then I.T. Manager for Gentra Systems, Inc. and finally have launched my own company called Gotageek. As many of you who knew me back when, I had quite the affinity for illicit substances (ok, drugs). Finally got sober in May of 1996, been that way ever since. Met my second wife that same year, we now have two beautiful little girls, Mallory who is 8 and Riley who is 4. We live in a little town about 25 miles west of Minneapolis and are having a great life. Haven't played guitar in quite a while, but hope to start again soon. I'm into cooking, running, I'm a total gadget freak, and just love spending time with the girls in my life.
