Ronald's Story

Life I was with my dear departed wife Karen for 27 years. We have raised 4 children together. Garret, and Addie are my two adult children. Karen's two adult children are Brandi, and Cory. Garret is currently living, and working in Vista. Addie is living in Murrieta with her husband Jonny, and raising my granddaughters Nevaeh, and Marley. Brandi, along with her 3 children Christian, Ricky, and Sofia are living with me in Escondido. Cory is living, and working in West Branch Michigan. . School If I could do it all over again, I would do a lot of things differently. To all of the women I dated; I’m really sorry.… College I attended Palomar College on, and off for a few years. I spent a lot of time backpacking, in the San Jacinto, and San Gorgonio mountains, as well as Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks. last 38 years. Workplace My first career job was working for Philips NV out of downtown L.A. It was great job, and I gained valuable work experience. However, I started getting homesick for San Diego County after living in the LA area for a couple of years. I landed a new job as a trainer for Pennzoil in Kearny Mesa, and spent the next two and a half years traveling around the USA teaching software applications. Eventually my job moved to Houston Texas, but I decided to stay here is San Diego County. I found a job working for Interleaf, Inc. out of La Jolla as a Field Service Technician. Two years later we were bought out by Digital Equipment Corp., several years later we merged with Compaq, then Hewlett-Packard etc... As of 2021, I’m still working in field service for a major multinational service provider. At age 62; I’m still an avid hiker, and living an active, healthy lifestyle. Colorado, and Utah are my favorite hiking destinations, but I’m planning to explore more of the USA!
