Life Ronald S. Plaine -- I am updating my bio as of August 2005 -- much has happened to me since I originally posted my first bio, so here is the revised data. Boy it seems like such a long time since graduation! Following graduation, I went to the Universtity of Pennsylvania and earned both by BS and MBA from the Wharton School in 1974 and 1975. I worked as a CPA in Florida and Pennsylvania for four years, followed by a rather lengthy career as an executive with a regional bank in Michigan (14 years). Since 1994 I have been partners with another Wharton graduate in a real estate development business here in Michigan. Our client investment group currently owns large regional malls and hotels throughout the country. In 1986, I married a local Michigan girl and have two beautiful daughters, Rebecca (17) and Stephanie (15). But by January 2004 we were separated, and then divorced in January 2005. I inherited the dog and usually have both of my daughters living with me. Stephanie is full time with me and Becky is most of the time -- both daughters suffer from the typical difficulties that teenage girls have of getting along with their mother.
