Rosa's Story
Life
Well lets see... I went to George Mason University and got myself a Public Administration degree. While attending college I worked for IKEA. Then after graduating I started working for Prince William County, VA. I've been with PWC since 1988. I'm currently a Systems Developer/Programmer Analyst.
I love to travel. I've been all over the US (including Hawaii, and Alaska). Outside the US, I've been to the Caribbean (on a couple of cruises), Canada (several times), Tahiti (1996), Fiji (1996), New Zealand (1996), Australia (1996), Greece (Oct 2003), Italy (May 2004), and Spain (May 2005). My next trip is going to be Holland (August 2006).
My life has actually changed a lot in the last 5 years. I got very sick in 2001, ma...Expand for more
inly due to my weight. I had ballooned up in weight over the years. Back in 2001 I was over 400 lbs. But I'm down to close to 200 now... and I'm happy. Along with the loss in weight, I gained a bunch of new girlfriends (because I wasn't so shy about getting out and about after the weight loss), started traveling again... and last Summer I purchased a motorcycle! My parents claim I'm a totally different person now... in a good way... although they weren't too thrilled about the motorcycle. <G> Several of my girlfriends ride... so we go out often, and in the last week of May, four of us are riding our motorcycles down to Key West. It should be a fun trip... I'm looking forward to it. (I own a Suzuki Boulevard S50 Cruiser - 800cc)
