Rosamond's Story

Life Bios, eh? Well, I married in 1987 and divorced in 1994 and had a beautiful son in 1990 (Corey). Spent several years alone and learning about life until I received a call from Nelson Vandegrift (Ho-Val '81) in 2000. Hadn't spoken to one another in over 18 years (he found me through Classmates.com). We married in 2001 and enjoy a fun life together. For those of you who remember him, he's still playing guitar(s), is still incredibly creative, and is unbelievably funny. Makes us laugh all the time. We have a 1975 Harley that we enjoy taking out for spins, and we enjoy traveling whenever we can (mostly stateside). We have three dogs - all rescues - 4 fish, 1 rabbit...Expand for more
, and 1 bird. It's a busy household. Corey turned 17 on July 12 and is enjoying driving (cringe) and hanging out with his pals. He also has a job at a local Victory dealership. I work in local government in the field of HR, Payroll and Process Analyses and Nelson works at the USDA as a Stationary Engineer. I'm also pursuing a second degree in Behavioral Science from Lynn University. Nel and I hope to move to Oregon in about 4 or 5 years ... and although Florida has been really good to us all these years, we're really tired of the heat and excessive development. Oregon will be a nice change. Hope all is well with those reading this. Cheers - Roz (Johnson) Vandegrift
