Rosemarie's Story
Life
Hi..I'll start by saying that many of you might remember me as John Bonifazio's
sister Rosemarie. John was a year ahead of me in school and all of his friends
made sure that no one would bother me. I out foxed him by ending up dating his friend Al De Pompeis and ended up marrying him. We have three children. All in their forties now and on their own. Al and I are divorced and living in Las Vegas. We are friends for the sake of family which is wonderful for all concerned. I was a stay at home mom, raised my children and wanted for nothing. We moved to Las Vegas in 1977 that's when life changed. After 2yrs.
I started to work in a known hotel, Al had two businesses, we got divorced. Kids
were all on their own. Fast forward to the present. I am now retired. Single.
Have one grandson (13yrs. old). Life is good. Still miss the east coast. People out here are quite different. Hard to believe that I am 65 yrs. old. I certainly don't feel my age or look it. Time passes so quickly without realizing it. I spent so much time making everyone else happy all my life that I forgot about myself. Now it's time for me. Tomorrow isn't promised to any of us so I try to make the best of today if I can. Nothing major, just try to enjoy what is around me and take nothing for granted. I appreciate nature and love to walk. I belong to a fitness club and try to workout whenever...Expand for more
possible. I am a people person and love to talk. I also have a very quiet side, I truly enjoy being alone. I enjoy cooking for my family. I especially enjoy watching them eat the favorite dishes that I prepare for each one of them. My daughter does not cook involved meals for her family, therefore, when they eat at my home it's a treat for them. Which pleases me. As you can see my life still focuses around my family. I must branch out and find my place in this world. Old habits are hard to break. Men in this town are hard to meet. They have different faces, but all the same stories. I am not interested. I would like to meet a sincere, honest person without a hidden agenda. I guess that I am asking for too much. One is a lonely number, however, it is much easier than playing head games. Anyway, that's my life not very exciting. It works for me mainly because it's peaceful and free of drama.
It has been two yrs. now since joining Classmates.com and most of my emails have been for my brother John. What can I say, John was always the popular one. Thank you all for inquiring about him. I passed the messages on to him and John being who he is had nothing but kind words for everyone who asked about him. I still would like to hear from my classmates from Olinville or Evander who remember me. Leave a note, I'll respond. Thank you!!! Until next time....Rosemarie
