Rosemarie's Story
I never imagined after graduating from Steinert and then Montclair State that I would move 11,000 miles from my home to Okinawa, Japan. Traveling has always been one of my top interests and there I found myself out in the Far East! It's been an exciting life as the wife of a USAF fighter pilot. We lived in Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, Idaho and 8 years in England.
We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Marcie, our daughter, is a math specialist in Hampton schools and has our 3 grandchildren-Rebekah 19 , Matthew 16 and Aiden 5. Rebekah was a student in my Spanish class! Our son Nathan is a contract auditor at Epsilon Def...Expand for more
ense. He is also involved in playing and coaching soccer. Our youngest son, Kevin, works on Yakota AF base for a small contingent of the US Navy in Yokosuka, Japan. Ellis retired from Delta airlines and having travel benefits is just "plane" wonderful. I retired from teaching beginning Spanish to 7th and 8th graders in a middle school. I am president of the York County Retired Teachers Association and I substitute teach quite a bit.
In 1991 we settled here in Virginia, close to Williamsburg with it's rich history and close to the water for boating.
