Rosemary's Story
I moved to Victoria in 1963 where I met my husband who immigrated from England. We married in November 1965. We lived in Victoria until moving to Nelson in 1973 where we opened a restaurant "Carriage House" which we operated for 24 years. l. We enjoyed traveling to other countries over the years; England, Colombia, S.A., Hawaii, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We moved to Oliver, BC in 2001 and enjoy living in the South Okanagan's "Wine Capital of Canada". Last year we celebrated 42 years of marriage. We are both still working but looking forward to retirement in the near future.
