Rosemary's Story
Greetings to any and all who choose to view my udated and ever changing story. I just renewed my subscription and I welcome communication from former classmates, friends, (even enemies), that wish to catch-up or even plan a gathering! 1st update: 1) 2nd marriage didn't last (oh well - guess I am destined for the single life at ? - did I just type that number)!
2) I have become a grandmother - my daughter Allison (from marriage #1 with Ken Breland), and her husband Alan blessed all of us with Harrison on April 15, 2007. Now they are expecting another child in September of this year! - YES she was shocked and on the pill!!! They live in Birmingham, AL - so I see them frequently since I live about 2 hours away.
3) The town or should I say village (Ward, AL) that I live in is in the COUNTRY. Most of my family live around here: parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. My parents are in reasonable good health but I need to be close by for them.
4)Who would have guessed that I would ever become a fireman(woman)??? I am the fire chief of ...Expand for more
our volunteer fire department - uniform, drive the truck - the whole 9 yards. So plan a visit and we'll take a spin! I would love to hear from anyone out there in cyberspace!
UPDATE: April 14, 2010 Griffin Rew Crotwell arrived 6 weeks early on August 4, 2008! So now I am a grandmother of 2 energetic boys.
I have returned to college (after a 37 year absence). This is my 4th semester at UWA in Livingston and while I may be the oldest in all of my classes - the experience has been just great (except Algebra.....).
My 30 year old son, Richard (also from marriage with Ken Breland). Has yet to "find" himself. He dreams of a career in the music industry. I told him that was fine but he needed to support himself waiting to be "discovered" (at 30 he is over-the-hill in that industry!) So he is taking a Basic EMT classs and I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will passs the class & pass the National Certification - so he can FIND himself in another town & his own space.
