Roxanne's Story
Hi! That's me at the top of the Empire State Building! I took a tour goup of 16 students 7-9th grade and 3 other chaperones to Boston and New York City for 6 days in June 2008. I teach U.S. History, so I wanted to take kids to see some historical sites and be exposed to different cultural experiences. It was great, but I was severly sleep deprived that week.
I am on classmates.com because I have been thinking that the class of 1980 needs to start planning a 30th reunion (can you believe it, 30th?) soon and also I ran into Donna Davidson (1979) and she reminded me about the site. There are a few people that I was hoping to see here like Tracy Risinger and Pam Garnsey, so if you know of their whereabouts, please tell them to join the site.

rea, I teach at MVMS, I have been married (happily) for 25 years, and have a wonderful family. My husband, Mike, is from Arkansas and works at Lackland AFB. I have two beautiful kids, Daniel (23, works in the heating and ac field), and Darcy (20, transferred from Texas Tech to UTSA where she is a senior in the graduate program majoring in accounting). My students are my other 145+ kids 9 1/2 months of the year.
My Dad and stepmother Nancy still live in the same house I grew up in in Castroville. My mom passed away 15 years ago. Suzanne is married and lives in Houston with my niece, Grace, and Dianne is single and lives in Dallas.
I love to travel and am getting to do more now that the kids are grown. I look forward to seeing old friends at our 30th reunion in 2010.
