Roy's Story
Let see,
Had a great time going to Portsmouth, Oh how I remember the portables. Graduated with the rest of group, and started in at Roosevelt. Hated the school, skipped most of it. My only escape was joining the US Navy. Saw the world including Vietnam. Surprised I made it back home. .
Government gave me money to go to college, so had to make use of it. graduated from College (funny but I never graduated from High School)
Owned a few business, worked for a couple of good companies, traveled the Caribbean often, and moved out of St. Johns. Got married a few times and actually out lived 2 of...Expand for more
my wife's. (yes they died from natural causes)
Now, as the golden years approach, and our retirement has been lost in the stock market, and our children screwed up our SS, I'm off to find that final adventure. Where it takes me, I do not know, but it will be fun living it.
Sometimes its best to remember each other as we did when we were young as it can be quite disturbing to see each other as old people. We tried to tell you girls that take advantage of our wild sex drive when we were young. But you wouldn't listen to us.
Live life for the moment as tomorrow may never come. And never give up.
