Royce's Story
Life
Am happily married with two kids: Kayla
(1992) and Jana (1993). My wife is a dental
hygienist and I am the Principal of a
private christian school here in
Honolulu. Went to Coe College in Iowa
after graduating to get my teaching
degree in Music Education. Came back
and did graduate work at UH for a
Masters of Arts in music education. Got
a job teaching Band at McKinley HS. Got
really sick after a few years and ...Expand for more
went
into the hospital for about 9 months
with a rare blood disorder. Started
attending Word of Life Christian Center
where I learned about God and what the
Bible says about healing. Beat
tremendous odds and survived this blood
thing. Started working at the church in
a graphics and computer position.
Transferred over to the school in 1996 to start a computer lab and
went on to become principal in the summer of 1997.
