Rudyard's Story
Life
Here I am now in my fifties. Knowing that I am blessed (some would call it lucky). I am blessed because I had a great Mom and Dad who knew that it was their job as parents to raise their sons to know right from wrong and to understand that education was the path to success. I am blessed because I married my childhood and high school sweetheart, Karen Ingram (Wilson 66), who is truly my sole mate and still every morning I tell her I love her (she really gets tired of that). I am blessed because I have 2 great brothers. One has left us but my oldest lives in Dallas and we know the value of being a brother. I am blessed with good friends who need a paragraph all by themselves.
The bulk of my friends are Ballplayers (that?s hard ball ladies: no soft here). We play on the famous traveling baseball team of the San Francisco Bay Area, The Fog City Forties (an age we are well passed now but our name is how we feel). I must interject that we could be in your area if there is a hardball tournament for our ...Expand for more
age group happening. These gentlemen who play on Fog City have helped me through tough times and celebrated good times. I say that?s what friends are for.
I am blessed with my two children, Rudyard Jr., and Lauren, both the light of my life. Rudyard, my Rastafarian, is an electrician in S.F., and Lauren is a dancer and actor in L.A. These kids are amazing. Rudyard graduated from S.F. State and Lauren is a Berkeley grad. Both have a mind of their own, but both know I am here to help when the need arises.
That's my close stuff friends. All who read this are all I probably call friends. So where ever you are in the world remember we were in grammar school, in high school, in college, or at work, and relationship we had can not be erased, but only be enhanced.

College
College and Grad school were uneventful. My eye was on the prize all the way and I am proud to say I have an M.B.A. I was very happy to meet Y. Lezama, my friend in Grad school. He trully has a heart of gold.
