Russell's Story
Life
Went to Texas A&M after graduating from Westwood. After that, I got married and worked at a couple of banks in Houston before returning to Palestine to enter the family biz. Had two sons (that I know of) who have grown to be two of the finest young men I've ever known. Josh followed my footsteps to A&M, and Jason got his degree from SFA. 97. Began teaching on the side at Trinity Valley College and was the assistant department head/acting coach there until '02. Kept the family biz going for a year after my Dad passed away in '01. Started to work for Anderson Paving, Inc. in Dallas in April of '02, and was promoted to Senior Estimator/Project Manager in April '04. Just bought a house and started putting down roots in Dec. '05. Loving it here in Big D. Still a free agent (learned my lesson after ONE divorce) and living La Vida Loca.
