Russell's Story
I graduated Class of 83, I should have been Class of 82 though. I wasted the best times of my young life by goofing off and not studying, which cost me an extra year of high school. Most of which though I do have to admit I met so pretty special people during that extra time.
I did alot of stupid crap though during that time and regret and am remorseful for all of it. I was selfish and only thought of myself. I hurt a few people and have never gotten the chance to apologize for that.
When I did leave school I had already joined the Army and served my time with it. I got married in 86 and had a son in 87, then somehow ruined that and divorced (#1) I worked as a bartender and ended up moving back to NC where...Expand for more
my family was at. Upon getting here I married and had a daughter in 91, and divorced in 93(#2). I do have sole custody of my daughter who is 17 now. I started working as an Electrician in 91 and to this day am doing that still. I am a certified Journeyman and a foreman with the company I work with. Shortly I am going for my Unlimited License. In 2002 I had a son with a live in girlfriend, he was a 28 weeker (preemie). We were together until last yr August when it came crashing down around me. The custody is now joint/shared/legal and he is doing fine with that.
Basically and to be put simply..I messed up and now I am paying for it so my children don't.
