III died Dec. 11, 2003 at age 40. 10 months after having a quad (4) heart bypass.
Son: E.Thomas Powers has been promoted to Lieut. Col. in the US Army.
Grandson: Chauncey E. Leopardi is an actor, and recently this month appeared in CSI-Las Vegas.
Niece: Rita A Kofalt Mauceri had a book published. She is a producer and writer and has been nominated for 2 emmy's. The name of the book is " Frumpy to Foxy in 15 Minutes Flat" available at Amazon.com, and Barnes and Noble
