Ruth's Story
I went to Humbercrest Public and then Runnymede C.I. for only two years. (couldn't wait to turn 16 and leave) I worked for the Royal Bank for about 25 years , tried my hand at Real Estate for a bit, then settled in to my "phasing out of the rat race" stage, in the car industry 20 years ago and can't seem to find the time to give it up and retire. I love to travel and dance at every opportunity.. My favourite place in the world is Newfoundland. (Heaven on earth, I think). I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren living within a few miles of here and that is the biggest reason for not moving there.

e reunion a few years ago and didn't see a soul that I knew or recognized. I am looking forward to another one and if it's true that the older you get the better your long term memory gets, i just might be able to pick someone out of the crowd by then.
I enjoy writing short stories about things in my life and recently had a piece published in a book of short stories. It's a very small publication but published nontheless. It never occurred to me that it would every happen, so I am thrilled. Now all it needs is readers!!!!
