Ryan's Story
Life
After graduation I joined the navy. I went to Great Lakes, IL for basic training and then went right acorss the street for a little extra schooling. As I was there I met my beautiful wife and got married in March of 1996. After that I went to Pensacola, Fl to attend Air Traffic Control School. Then as the military often does I transferred 3 times. Went to Jacksonville, Fl, where my daughter was born in 1999, then it was off to Fallon, NV, and then onto the USS Abraham Lincoln. she got turned around. Unfortunatly with that turn around I had to spend another 20 days in Austrailia...to bad for me huh! Anyways, got out in Nov 2004. Since finishing my degree, I landed back in the Tri-Cities working for the FAA as an air traffic controller. We also had another addition to our family in 2006. Well since landing in the Tri-Cities things have gone smoothly, but just like in the military I cannot seem to stay in one place. We are transferring back to Iowa, where I will be working at a regional airport there as a controller.
