Sabrina's Story
Life
I graduated from Ames High in 1996 and started at Iowa State that fall. In 1998 I took some time off to work and travel -- I spent some time in Nepal and Tibet as well as traveling in the U.S. I transferred to the University of Iowa in 2000 and completed my bachelor's there in 2002. paring to defend my thesis this summer and I will be receiving my master's from Iowa State in Rhetoric and Professional Communication this August. I have been a teaching assistant in the English department at Iowa State for two years and I also work part-time as a technical writer and editor at the Institute for Food Safety and Security as well as the Center for Transportation Research and Education on the ISU campus. In August I will begin a full-time position as a technical writer and editor at ISU.
