Salena's Story
Life
I met my husband, Ed, in 1997 at Ricks College where I obtained a degree in biology. We both then attended Brigham Young University and I got my BA in Family History. For a while I ran my own research company (Genealogy) but closed the business when our son, Teancum, joined the family. We also have a daughter, Rachel. Between college and Ed's career, in the past ten years I've lived in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Mexico City, Mexico, South Carolina, and now Texas. It's been fun experiencing different parts of the country and interior Mexico in a non-tourist fashion, but I do miss the unique Colorado weather.

d time with my family, my friends, run (10K - ultras!), quilt, play music instruments, play the piano for our church, read, and garden. I also volunteer as an assistant editor for a Hispanic family history magazine and write articles for various historical journals. I also spend time helping to organize events for our city's running club. Right now, I'll bet some of you who knew me in school are saying, "The only thing Salena hated more than history was exercising. Now she loves both? What happened?!" :)Well, don't you think it would be a waste of ten years if you were the same person as you were in high school?
