Sally's Story
Life
As an airforce brat, my father was transfered from Pine Castle Airforce base after I completed the 10th grade at Boone High School. Our family was once again uprooted and it was probably the hardest move of my life. I lived in Orlando from 8th grade through 10th. I had to leave some very special friends. We moved to Hemlock, a small town in Mich. where I finished the 11th and 12th grade. I left there after graduation and moved to Vallejo, Ca. I attended Vallejo Jr. College for 2 years. tioned at Travis Air Force Base. We married in 1963. I never had to change my last name. We will be celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary this next year. We have 2 sons and two beautiful grand daughters. I have only moved 2 times since I married and that was only across town. I vowed my sons would never have to change schools and they didn't. I retired as secretary from the Vallejo School District last August and am enjoying my free time immensely. Would love to hear from any of you out there who may remember all the good times we had.
