Please reach me at ( sanmarklira at gmail dot com ) Recently Divorced (2015) Just people and events I remember. I think most of this stuff is for me. As it goes, my mom passed away when I was 10. I went from my sister's (Torrence, Ca), my dad's (Rosemead, Ca) to my dad's ex-wife (Pacific Palisades, Ca) to my sister (San Antonio, Tx), and back to my Dad's (Woodland Hills, Ca). Ya, that pretty much sucked. Stable now (Los Feliz, Ca), I'm married, only once, to my friend Sheri. We have our 5 kids: Chelsea Elizabeth (1987), Nicholas Alexander (1993), Megan Catherine (1999), and our twins Emily Victoria (2004), and Ryan Andrew (2004). The following is just a list of people and events. Stuff I remember. Just memories that have always stuck in there. I think It's really just for me. You will probably look at it and say "I don't remember it like that." or "what the hell is he talking about? or even, "I don't remember that at all." Ha ha. We all have different interpretations of the events in our lives. Different angles, different takes and biases on our past. These are mine. I hope they jar a memory or two for you. Rosemead HS - Rosemead, CA My friends were: Michael Meade (We were Monty Python fanatics) Randall Teets and Bruce Scott (chipped my front tooth at Muscatel MS, haha), Doug Jones, James or Tony Dowling, Randy Thornton, Brian ??? (he had the nice dark blue mustang) Rosemead HS - Rosemead, CA Coddie Shifflett. Coddie was working on a balsa wood mockup of the phaser from "Space 1999" and the binoculars from "Star Wars" (1977). I always was impressed by that. Rosemead HS - Rosemead, CA Anntoinette Nell (spelling) I remember her showing me a drawing she did. It was Warner Brothers animated style. Wow, she was good. Rosemead HS - Rosemead, CA Russell Bundy. We used to pal around with Russell (I don't remember who was in that group). I remember a car accident, in front of the liquor store on Mission street. I saw Russell, sitting on the curb, I remember how devastated he was. Rosemead HS - Rosemead, CA Dan Blair - I think Dan was the Stage manager on the production of "To Kill a Mockingbird" After the production, at the cast and crew party, Dan gave everyone who worked on the play a encased 1936 penny. The plot and characters are loosely based on the author's observations of an event that occurred near her hometown in 1936, when Harper Lee was 10 years old. I still have the penny. I think that's where my coin collecting started. I also remember, Russell Bundy gave him hell about eating BBQ ribs at the Bahooka Restaurant on grad night. (it was all in fun) Rosemead HS - Rosemead, CA I was trying to meet a girl at a cast and crew party for a play or variety show we did and I was fake sobbing over my dead dog, I think someone set it up for me. (I was faking. I didn't have a dog) It worked. Sadly, I can't remember the girl (Mary Crosswhite?) Palisades HS - Pacific Palisades, CA (1978) My best friend was: Ron Hardy (The day after the big fire in October 1978 our school was closed and absolutely no one on the beach, sweet!) We saw Brooke Shields and Christopher Knight on campus.
