More about Sandee:"My favorite things are being a mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I have three great children -- Justin, Amber and Haylee. I have two awesome "in-law" children whom I loved long before they were legally mine -- Eryn (Justin's wife) and Ed (amber's fiance). Amber and Ed have given me two grandchildren who are perfect -- Bryan Markus andJacob Matthew. And I have two g-doggys -- Pippin and Abby (Justin and Eryn are their parents).

I have also been very blessed with lots of "non-biological children" -- to whom I would like to ...Expand for more
offer my sincerest apologies for not mentioning them when I first wrote this profile. WTF could I have been thinking?! They've been part of my family for a long time -- since long before they were adults -- and I still love them and love it when they call me Mom. (Am I forgiven Mike? I'd tell you you're my favorite but we don't want any riots. lol)

I've been divorced twice -- and Haylee says it's important that I clarify that I've divorced two husbands and let you know that I've not been divorced twice...lol.

I LOVE taking pictures and I'm convinced it has kept people alive at my house a day or two longer. I love my job -- I provide psychological services to adults with disabilities. My favorite populations to work with are people with Traumatic Brain Injuries and those with Asperger's Syndrome. They teach me more than I could ever teach them.

I've lost both of my parents and I constantly struggle with that. My dad died 3.23.2004 and my mom died 12.25.2006. In between them, I lost my brother. Coping with the loss of my family of origin is probably my biggest struggle right now. If my children, their families and I weren't close, I don't know how I'd get through. I think, though, it is like Professor Dumbledore tells Harry in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone , "...Love as powerful as your [parents'] for you leaves its own mark...No visible sign...[but] to have been loved so deeply, even though [those] who loved us [are] gone, will give us some protection. It is in your very skin."

I'm also happy to say I found my biological famiy on Facebook -- can you believe it!? I'm thrilled about that and hope to build lasting relationships with them.".
