Sandra's Story
Life has been good to me since I left Hawthorne in 1980. I found the love of my life, my soul-mate, Kent Phillips, in Maryland. We have been happily married since 1983 - whoa 34 years and counting.
I have traveled to places I never would have expected, like Panama City and Riyadh Saudi Arabia, with my work. I have had the best of jobs and the worst of jobs, but I have done them in amazing places - England, Spain, Sicily, Italy, Germany, Maryland, Virginia, and Arizona. We have traveled extensively throughout Great Britain while living in London and Europe while living in Germany.

the world over: circumnavigated Australia; from Singapore to Japan via Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China; Alaska; from Moscow to St Petersburg, Russia; 1,000 miles down the Amazon; from San Diego down the Mexican Riviera; and from Miami to Cancun. My husband is finally taking me on a honeymoon in Greece, which he promised 34 years ago - another cruise from Athens through the Greek Isles to Israel and back through the Greek Isles to Naples and Rome, Italy.
For the rest of my life I will continue volunteering in the service of the Lord, counting my blessings every day.
