Sandra's Story

Graduated University of Evansville with BS in Nursing in June 1967; Joined the US Army Nurse Corp in 1968. Retired as Lieutenant Colonel in 1991. Best years were those spent on a 4 year assignment to Germany. Loved it all. Taught Nursing at U of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) for 10 years then went to teach in Saudi Arabia working for Saudi Aramco. d in NC near my family of origin for nearly 10 years. Did Correctional nursing while I lived there. Moved to follow daughter and family to Florida and Alabama. Then did Travel Nursing for 5 years. Retired to Albuquerque, NM in 2019. Daughter and 2 grandsons live here as well. Fell in love with Albuquerque over 30 years ago. Took a while to get here to stay. Loving retirement. s
