Sandra's Story
Life
I have 1 daughter, 3 sons, 1 stepson and 8 grandchildren. I married a year out of high school and divorced in 1989. I remarried in 1991. I lived in Minneapolis until 1972, then moved to Houston. I lived there until 1990, then moved to Lake City,CO with my new husband. We had a 750 acre ranch, raised llamas for a while. o wait a year to open up and try to clean it up. I ended up with a staph infection. A total of 6 surgeries later and a worse knee than I started out with. I can’t stand or walk without pain, yuck! We decided to move closer to medical care, and have less land to take care of. We are building a new home on 5 acres (couldn’t completely go without some space around us, in Bulverde, TX and should be done in a month or 2. We thought we’d build a smaller home., didn’t happen. It’s 6000 sq ft.
