Sandra's Story

I was a fairly shy person back in junior high. Got teased alot. Now I am a published author, a Mother of 2 grown children(1 a manga artist and 1 a pharmacist in University training)and I am a wife of 27 years this past December 21st. I have travelled the world and I use it when I write. I write poetry(still) and so far short stories. My children have found their significant others but are more interested in starting their careers than getting married and having a family. My daughter is 25 and my son is soon to be 23. They still live at home lol ... no empty nest syndrome for me just yet and no grandchildren. So I have a cat and hubby has a bassett hound. We are back in Winnipeg where we first started...hopefully this is not where we will end up forever. We travelled alot because my husband was in the Airforce as in I...Expand for more
nstrument Electrical Technician. If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/3 of it to charities, then spend the rest on some on my dream home, a house or cottage in England and a villa in Spain. My current age is 47. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be accomplished at living comfortably. I was so completely wrong lol. My best friend would tell you I'm a huge presence in her thoughts and others thoughts, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as manic. I dress for comfort .. so pretty much as I did back then.. Jeans and a long t-shirt or sweater. I share my home with My husband, our two offspring and their significant others, which I find incredibly trying sometimes. My first book was published November of 2007 under my pen name Mysty Johnson. The book is entitled Chrysalis.
