Sandy's Story
I am Sandra Purvis Starr. Graduated in 1961; married Dale Starr in June of 1962. I have worked at different places since being married; spent 15 yrs. as homemaker as we farmed for about 20 yrs. We lived in Phoenix, AZ from 1987-1989, and moved back to Redwood Falls, MN where I started work at Minnwest Bank as teller, and later became a consumer loan officer for about 15 yrs. Bethanie Bjorndal. We have 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren with 3rd great grandchild on the way. We go south to Phoenix,AZ area for 3 months in winter and stay in an Senior RV park there.
I have recently started getting together with some of the gals that were in my class a couple times a year. Kathryn Hansen Byram, Mary Kay Hohenstein, Hilda Parks, Michelle Cornish Neegard, Harriet Becker Sowers and myself get together for lunch and enjoy visiting about what we have been doing for the past 50 yrs.
