Life
I'm single, again. I have 2 sons and 1 grandson. Sold the farm and moved to "town" as I am working full time as a 911 Dispatch Supervisor and just didn't have time to keep up with the animals and the land. I purchased a 100+ year old home that we are slowly restoring. We have 1 very large black lab and a 14 year old cat.
I pulled my children out of public school when my eldest was in 5th grade and the youngest was in 1st grade. The eldest graduated at age 16 in a small homeschooling ceremony put on by our local homeschool group. T...Expand for more
he quality of education available and the safety issues in the public school drove me to take charge of my children's education. I do not regret my decision. The youngest is an active Scouter and plans to graduate a few months prior to him turning 17.
School
I don't miss school at all! (not much else to say, huh?)
Workplace
I am a "911" dispatcher for a County approximately 45 minutes South of Kansas City. It's a very rural community which keeps us busy with drug trafficing and domestic disputes (why can't people just get along!).
