Sara Elaine's Story
Most of ya'll probably remember me as Elaine White. I got married (stupid thing to do) our senior year to Larry Woodall. It lasted all of 13 yrs. but at least I had 2 fantastic boys from the marriage. AND I'm still good friends with Larry and his wife Carol. I did remarry in 1988 to a guy from Kings Mountain, named Rick Toney. We even did it up right to suit our craziness. We got married on Feb. 29, 1988. Yep, we only had an anniversary every four years. At least it was special. We had 16 wonderful years together, until lung cancer took him away on Dec. 29, 2004.
I met a great guy a few years later and we've been together ever since.
I guess no one would recognize me now since I've gained sooooo much weight. I was soooo skinny in high school. I remember some of my friends calling me Twiggy. LOL
I would love to see Mrs. Ideker again. She made English enjoyable for me. I would also love to see a lot of my old friends.
Some of my obsessions are my computer and watching Food Network all the time.
I have 2 boys who have their own lives and families. OMG I have 5 grandchildren. I never even dreamed of being mawmaw to anyone.

still telling me I can do things that I could once do in my twenties, but then my body says WHOA! who do you think you are? LOL
My best friend would tell you I'm a clown, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as sweet and quiet.
I share my home with my boyfriend Johnny, which I find strange saying boyfriend at our ages. But, it is so peaceful and happy here..
In Septemeber,2008 I made the trip of my dreams. My little brother Dougie, who is a Navy chaplain, arranged a trip to Gaeta, Italy, which is where he is stationed. I had never flown before, but now it's the only way to travel. LOL.
OMG the people over there are amazing. I fell in love with the people and the culture. I really had a fantastic time until my fourth day over there and fell and broke my leg. That left me confined to his apartment for three days until he could find crutches and a wheelchair. After that, I was mobile again, and we got to see lots of things I never dreamed of seeing. All in all, it was still a great trip. I hope to go back sometime soon. This time, I'll have to save my money so I can take my granddaughter Brit, who adores her uncle Dougie.
