My Pets
I have 2 beautiful (but dumb) large dogs. One is a bit over 125 lbs. and thinks he is a lap dog. He is part lab and part pit bull. I got him on Christmas Eve 6 years ago. The other is a mixed breed and is just down right hyper. My cat is another story. She is the queen. If it were up to her, she'd let us in and out and feed us every so often. Fish, well these days they excell in swimming.

Got a new puppy for Christmas 2002. He's a Bluetick Hound and his name is Sam. What is it with me and animals? Ex-husband now has the fish and the Pitbull. I miss him much! (the dog, that is.) But . . . I still have the cat! LOL!!
My Kids
She is the light of my life. I only wish that I could skip the teenage years. 16 is not my favorite age right now. But other than the antics that seem to be a reflection of some of mine at that age, she is a delight. A full head of curly RED hair and a temper to match! I love her to death. She was attending Cedar Shoals BUT I now have her at Clarke Central!!! She's excited that she is where her mama, grandmother and grandfather went to school. (her daddy is from Monroe, we won't hold that against him. LOL!)

he is taking classes at Athens Tech until she discovers what she wants to do to farther her education. I know how she feels, it does not seem like it was that long ago when I was in her shoes. But . . . it has been . . . 20 years ago.

I now have 2 more children. We're foster parents to 2 beautiful kids, a boy and girl who are brother and sister. We love them so much, can't imagine life without them.
My Job
I'm actually the general merchandise buyer for the University of georgia Bookstore. It's a great job but can be stressful a times. Trying to get ready for each years football season is a challenge. I've been here 11 years and can't imagine being any other place.
***UPDATE***
Well, after being with the UGA Bookstore for 14 years, they went lease January 1, 2004. With that many years invested with the University I wanted to stay with them instead of the leased operation. May of 2004 I went to work for the College of Education at UGA in the Test Scoring and Reporting Services department. We score various tests that Elementary, Middle and High Schools use these days. I am the Office Manager and wear many hats in this position. Although I loved my job with the Bookstore this is a great replacement.
