Sarah's Story
Life
I graduated from ISU fall of 1999. I majored in Construction Management and minored in Architectural Drafting. I live in an old farmhouse south of Marshall. I am the mananger of Marshall Auto Parts. I have a German Shepherd named Treu that gets all of my attention.
College
I started my career at Indiana State University majoring in Mechanical Technology. I took an elective in Architectural Drafting and immediately knew I was in the wrong field. ec. 1999. I commuted to ISU so I didn't make a bunch of friends there. However, I really enjoyed the Construction program.
Workplace
I really enjoy where I currently work. My responsibilties range from answering the phone, waiting on customers, to managing inventory, and stocking shelves. I am often seen sweeping the floor or cleaning the bathroom. I have such a large range of jobs that it never gets boring. My favorite part of the job is creating inventory orders and working with the computer.
I do someday plan to actually use my degree and work in residential construction.
