Sarah's Story
Hmmm. Life now is pretty darn good. I am working as an archaeologist doing cultural resource management work with an engineering and consulting company and I have been married to a wondeful fellow UNR grad (both of us with degrees in geology) since 2002. No kids, but we do have a 25 pound cat, so it's akin to having a furry toddler with a halitosis problem. which is definitely exciting, but a little daunting. Jim is in the process of changing jobs to a more rewarding, not to mention fun, career doing GIS work for both the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology and a geothermal company.
We're looking forward to possibly buying a house now that prices are starting to come down, and then seeing what happens when you try to work full time while going to grad school. Should be entertaining. :)
