Sarah's Story

Life Hello. I am a SAHM with 7 kids, one in Heaven who passed away in 1999. I have 4 girls (Lyndsey,14, Adriana,11, Kaitlyn, 8, Jasmine 4 and 4 boys (Brent, 12 Laban, 6 , Trevin born in March 2008, and Cainan, deceased). We live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Our 2 year old has a chronic lung disease and developmental delays. I love it here! Miss NH only once in awhile!! We live in a very depressed area economy wise but I love the laid back atmosphere to raise kids in. After gaining quite a bit of weight during my baby days (we leave our family planning up to God so I don't know if we're "done") . God has been very gracious to me in giving me a loving Christian husband. I love him. We've been married 15 years now and our oldest is 14. Most of my family lives away from NH now. My parents live in NC after living in NH for 35 years. I have 6 siblings in SC, 1 in WA, four in NH and my ...Expand for more
baby brother is in the Marines. God has really blessed us. We don't have the material things that most people have but we have each other and the assurance of eternal life in Christ our Saviour. Life hasn't all been roses..there have been thorns but each of these thorns is a reminder that we can't become too attached to this life and there is a much better life awaiting us. We have a little anchor (our 3 week old baby who went to be with Jesus in 1999) over there and we are awaiting the day when we can see him again. My prayer for all of you is that you know the peace that comes from having Jesus as your Saviour and the assurance that you too will be in Heaven someday. It is not of any of our works or merits or any good or bad we've done.. but it is only throught the belief that Jesus died for every one of our sins.
