Scott's Story
I think that almost everyone would agree that , for the most part, life does not turn out the way that we envision it will while we are in High School. I certainly am no different. After Lockview, I bounced around through a couple of jobs and a stint at Georgian College and eventually ended up working in construction for a few years before I landed a good job working at Dana Canada in Thorold. I thought(hoped) that I was going to be there until my retirement but that changed when I was laid off at the end of 2006 and the plant was closed shortly after. nd landed on my feet within a couple of months when I got a good job with a busy trucking company as a driver. So think of me whenever you buy bananas or any fresh fruit because there is a good chance that I was the driver that picked it up in the U.S. and brought it to Canada. I get home usually every other night and every weekend to spend time with my wife and kids. I work on my Harley when I get a chance and a couple of bucks (maybe tis year it'll be on the road) and I hope that I will hear from someone from Lockview or some other part of my past.
