Scott's Story
Life
After working in the printing industry for 20+ years, and moving all over the country climbing the corporate ladder, and after having open heart surgery at 39. We sold everything in LA and moved back to Texas in 2001.
Now 2006, we are still in East Texas. We both work for the local school district and have a tree farm. It is called "End Of The Road Tree Farm", we raise cut your own Christmas trees.
My wife Joan and I have been married for 22 years now.
This May it will be 10 years since my surgery and all is fine.
This July we are expecting our first grand child. Ultrasounds show its a girl, so I look forward to spoiling her and giving her back to mom and dad.
Update 1/2/07 spent the holidays in Charlotte NC with our new grand daughter, she is sooo cute. She is full of life and a very good baby. She smiles and giggles at everyone.
Update 8/31/07 having a wonderful time spoiling Emma, she was 1 this past July. Went to Charlotte to celebrate our birthdays together, was a great trip. Joan & Laurie got me a Richard Petty Experience package and boy that was fun. Look forward to doing it again at Texas Motor Speedway. Trees are growing like mad this year, I think the 20+ inches of rain might have something to do with it. All is well, and looking forward to selling some trees next year.

eady, seems like yesterday we were cruising down 4th street.
Update 8/6/08 new grandson Zack born in March, I wasn't able to be there but grandma was. We are going for a visit next week and hope to get some good pictures to post. Still working for a living and growing trees. Oh, also killing a few snakes now and then in the yard.
Workplace
Worked in the printing trade since high school.
Started off running and repairing printing presses, and became a service manager. Then landed a job for a major press manufacture in Chicago called Komori. Then a job with MAN Roland as director of service in LA. This was the best position and I held it the longest. Worked for MAN for nearly 10 years.
Printing was very good to me and was an excellent career choice for me. Working for the manufactures has taken my to Europe and Japan and many other places around North America.
After moving to Texas in 2001, I now work for the local school district in the maintenance department. I am the HVAC/Electronics tech. Lots of work and good people in the school district. It is the Fairfield I.S.D. we have four campus's and around 900 students. It was real strange at first going back to school but I really like it now and have a good time at work instead of worrying about what is going to happen next, like it was in the corporate world.
