Life
Served LDS mission 1974-76 to Navajo Indian Reservation.
Married in 1979 right after graduting from BYU. Lived in West Bountiful, Utah. First child Matt born 1980. Adopted two more children - Chailyn (Korea - 1984), Benjamin (Colombia - 1988). Wife passed away suddenly 1995.
Remarried 1997 to widow (Ranae Christensen) with 5 children: Corey (1978), Tracie (1979), Brandon (1985), Ryan (1986), RaeAnn (1987). Moved all the way to Centerville, Utah.

Workplace
I'm the chief actuary at Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators. Our company provides the employee benefit program for the employees of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and related organizations. I work on the design and funding of the various benefit plans. I am on the Senior Management Committee of our company. It's been a great job - I love it!
I am a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
