Scott's Story
God has given me a wonderful wife, Lori. Two daughters, Emily 13 and Nicole 10. And a career I can share with my wife. We're both YMCA Executive Directors. After 13 years with the Torrance-South Bay YMCA, we moved from the Palos Verdes Peninsula in 2004 to Whittier, where we now each have a YMCA of our own to work for. Though my perception of Whittier wasn't good going in, we've found it's one of the nicest, quietest communities around. We're blessed.
Our kids go to Whittier Christian School. We attend Whittier Area Community Church and our home is smack in the middle. Everything is within a 5 mile radius. (For Leuzinger graduates, that means we don't need to travel very far...)

dondo Beach! And then seeing a few more of us at the 30th in San Pedro. Now hopefully I'll see some of you at the collective reunion of '78 - '87 in Redondo again! Let's all keep in touch with each other!
College
I played baseball at El Camino College in 1982, after graduating there in 1981...
Long story on that...
In 1983, got a try-out and one of two mainland scholarships to play at Hawaii Pacific College. Unfortunately, for technical reasons, I would've needed to take 22 units to be eligible, so I came back and played at L.A. Harbor College in 1984. We won the California State Championship that year. That was pretty cool. Then went to Sonoma State after being recruited to play baseball there. Lots of college baseball, that's for sure!
