Sella's Story
Spent my first 12 years bouncing round the States (Torrance CA, Seattle WA, Boise ID, Salem OR, Great Falls MT, Vienna VA) before heading to West Africa for a couple of years.
Attended ACS from fall 1975 to winter 1977 (8th & part of 9th grade). My dad was working on a UN project up at the Mano River. My sister Stacey also attended elementary. We were active in the Congotown Baptist Church and also often went to ELWA.
Returned to Vienna, VA, where I ghosted through high school at Madison. Main memories are of choir and the Vienna Baptist youth group.

llowed by 10 years knocking around, spending as little effort as possible earning a living while pursuing other interests (flying, writing, traveling). Went partially deaf for a while (all better now, but no scuba diving).
Fell backwards into the perfect career, so went back to school at the University of WA to finish my degree and get a certificate in tech writing. Figured out how to leverage a lifelong interest in computers without actually spending my days bit fiddling, and have really enjoyed the past decade plus.
Now I work for the best software company on the planet. I finally got up the nerve to buy a house, and am looking forward to some serious traveling coming up (Madagascar anyone?). I still haven't finished my damned novel, though.
