Shafi's Story
And a good day to all.....
I'm doing pretty well these days, after I graduated I took some classes at Wayne and after 6 months I joined the Marine Corps, and worked in the Motor Transport field. Had a very successful career and travelled the world, received several meritorious promotions, played and coached All-Marine Baseball, served a tour as a Drill Instructor, and have been featured on several Marine Corps Cadence CD's, narrarated Marine Corps training films, and ceremonies, taught Professional Military Education at Marine Corps Schools.
I retired from the Marine Corps in February of 2007 after 20 years and I taught Marine Corps Junior ROTC and coached baseball in Chicago and Michigan for three years. I am currently working for the Government, working with the Marine Corps and the Army, helping save lives.
I would love to hear from any of you that knew me in High School.I still draw and I'm putting together a website of my cartoons. I also like to get out and sing Karaoke a few times a week, So until next time....take care and thanks for dropping by.

Enjoyed going to school so much, I never missed a day! (Got a plaque from the Board of Education and a Savings Bond)
Biggest Crush? Dawn Jones: She came out of nowhere and had me walking into brick walls (Did her homework for an entire semester in 10th grade) 25 years later I still get hell from my friends (no hard feelings). Crushes on me? Anita Gonzalez, Yolanda Hernandez and Denise Bradley.
Favorite Teachers? Mrs. Guerra, Mrs. Wikenczy, Mr. Krueger, Mr. Williams.
Year I had the most fun? Definitely the 11th grade.
My senior year left a very bad taste in my mouth for a few reasons.
