Shannon's Story
Life
My gosh, I cannot believe that it has been 15 years since graduation from high school. It is amazing how time flies. Anyway, I have done a lot in those years, some things exciting, some not so exciting! :) I got married in 1994 and moved away from Ohio. My Husband is a weather forecaster in the United States Air Force, so we have moved a lot. We have lived in NC, NJ, SC, MS, FL, and JAPAN!!! This by far has been the most exciting and rewarding assignment of his career. The Japanese culture is fascinating if you just jump into it the best way you can! I have two beautiful sons, Tate born in 1999, and Cooper born in 2004. Cooper was born in Japan. Our time in here is coming to a close. In June 2007, we will be leaving this wonderful AF community and moving to Las Vegas, NV for 4 years. This is a new adventure that we are all looking forward to. We will be excited to at least be in the same country as family again, even if it is not the same time zone! :) I have done a few different jobs over the years. ol and infant teacher, and also owned my own daycare business. The military has that affect on a career. The past three years I have just enjoyed being a mommmy to my kids and wife to my husband. I like those jobs the best! When we get back to the states, I plan on opening another daycare until my youngest goes to school. After that, I think I would like to try something else.
School
High school was fun, but those whoever said it was "the best time of your life" were very wrong. My life since has been so much better. I mean if nothing else, at least you get paid to get up and go to work! :) I would love to get in contact with anyone who wants to talk to me. I have found a few friends over the internet, even a couple on myspace. I have never lost contact with Nicole Bannick (Resar now), and we chat often. College
I have a degree in early childhood education. I went to LCCC, and then to a college in NJ after i got married. SO in other words, there really were no fun and crazy nights for me!
