Shannon's Story
Life
Living in rural, western New Mexico working as a family physician for the Indian Health Service on the Zuni reservation. Great work with stellar colleagues and beautiful, if stark, surroundings. My parents and both sisters live on Whidbey Island in Washington State. works for a growing software development company. My recent travel includes a road bike tour in New Zealand and mountain bike tour in Mexico. Worst souvenier from trip to Mexico: broken ankle on Day 1 requiring surgery. One of these days I'll get my act together and learn to play the guitar and get up to Alaska to see the aurora borealis. Things I would rather not live without: NPR, Netflix, satellite radio, good fiction, the goat cheese spread at Karam's in Seattle, dark chocolate, my bike.
