Sharon's Story
Life
I moved back to the Chicago area after living in Las Vegas, NV for 12 years. While there, I earned my BA from UNLV. I worked as a radio DJ on an 80's station, an airborn traffic reporter and I hosted a public affairs show. I also worked as a newspaper reporter, worked in televsion and went to graduate school. I currently anchor the news on AM 890 WLS and work part time as a deejay for 101.9 fm "The Mix" and "100.3 Love fm" in Chicago. I'm having a great time in this city. I missed Chicago and the suburbs while I was living in Vegas. Even though I like Vegas and consider it my 2nd hometown, I'm glad to be back in Chicago to enjoy the rain, the Lake the culture & the food.

. I love the outdoors, traveling, working out, (when I do it) listening to music, going to concerts, the beach & to movies. One of my favorite ways to spend my time is hanging with family & friends. Some of the things I've done since H.S. is graduate college, become a reporter, a radio dj, a public affairs show host. I rafted the Colorado River, went skydiving, bungee jumped 3x's, walked on fire. I jet skied all the way around Key West in very choppy water. Scary. I love adventure. I'll try anything even if it scares me. In my job I've been fortunate enough to meet some rock stars...Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge, Debby Harry & Chris to name a few. Life is great. I look forward to many more great times and stories to tell no matter what I'm doing.
