Sharon's Story
Life
The day after graduation I moved to Hopkinsville KY. I graduated from the Hopkinsville Community College UK in '68 and in July of 68' married a very nice guy from college. He joined the Air Force, and I got to travel the world with him. I moved back to Hopkinsville in '75 when my husband was sent to Germany and the AF would not let me go. Unfortunately, our marriage ended when he had a mid-life crisis, and decided he had lost his youth and found a younger love. I remarried to the best husband in the world, which I thank God for daily. We have been happily married for 19 yrs. I can retire from my job with the Christian Co. Public School system in June,2004. I taught High School English for 10 years trying to educate "Juvenile Delinquents" except now they are called "At Risk Youth". I decided I did not like teaching all that much, and in '87 took a job as a School Secretary and have loved it. I went back to college and earned a Business Degree, so when I retire I can start a second career.
