Sharon's Story
Life
I am currently living in Woodland, California and work at the Western Regional Center for Snap-on Tools in the accounting department. I just celebrated my 7th wedding anniversary with my husband, Bruce Burr. My daughter Erin Stone (from first marriage) is 25 and engaged to be married. She is currently attending college full time working on a degree in music. I have two step-sons. One is married and has three beautiful boys ages 6,5 and 2.
I sing in my church choir and a small ensemble known as Grateful Hearts. I am a certified lay speaker for Northern California/Nevada annual conference of the United Methodist church.

I am now looking for a new job since Snap-on is closing the Sacramento and Boston o...Expand for more
ffices and consolidating all operations into one call center in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Since I have no desire to shovel snow or live in heat and humidity, I am looking for a job for the first time in over 14 years.

9/9/07 Update
I have a new job! I am currently working for WDC Exploration and Wells in Woodland, five minutes from my house. Those of you in the oil and gas industry (or water development and environmental clean-up) may be familiar with the company. I have been there three weeks in a temp to hire position and I am loving it. I am the accounts receivable clerk and I also help with some accounts payable. The people are great and I am learning new things every day.
