I always wanted to be a teacher but I backed out after High School. I went to work at Medical Center Hospital and then thought I wanted to be a nurse. So, I went to St. Vincent's Nursing School for 1 semester and found love and had to leave. My husband was in Elkwood. We have been married 32 years and have 1 daughter named Ashley Renee. She just got married a couple of years ago. I started back to school at Calhoun and finished one year and all my basics. Never got a degree but saw many schools. Now of course I wish I had become a teacher. Thank goodness, my daughter is totally different. She is at UAH getting her Masters in English. I love dogs and animals. I've had a dog since I was born. Now I have 3 dogs: Poochie-part shitz, part pom, Sweetie-white dacsund,part cocker, and my sweet little squirt-probably part shitz and maltese.
